freckles make me strong.

I live in Seattle. These are things that catch my attention, pique my interest and/or make me want to pass notes in class like a 7th grader

My brother Nathan has been cooking at Canlis, a super legit restaurant in Seattle, for about a month now.
Last week, Chef Daniel Humm and some of his staff from Eleven Madison Park here in NY, went to Canlis and cooked from their new cookbook, as a kind of guest chef spot, along side the staff at Canlis.
That’s my brother on the far left, plating the hell out of some serious, big time food, with some serious, big time chefs.
He just graduated from cooking school in July, and this is what he did last week. So cool. I’m so, so proud of him.

Very nicely done, Nathan!  I am hoping to try this place soon with my fellow Fancy Dinner Club members.
